The steel frame for a typical domestic garage can be erected in days with the structure becoming watertight in a fraction of the time associated with traditional builds. This provides quick access for follow-on trades such as electricians and plasterers to ensure the garage can be completed much quicker than normal.
Cost Effective
The Abtech Steel Frame is lighter than timber, concrete or brick, with most garages requiring only a 150mm deep concrete slab as a base. Reduced groundwork costs in plant hire and labour make our factory built frame an appealing alternative to traditional construction.
Durability
The Abtech cold rolled galvanised steel frame offers excellent durability with the life expectancy for galvanised steel being in excess of 50 years. The frame is not subject to fungal attack from dry or wet rot or from insect infestations. Unlike timber, the steel frame is non flammable.
Customisable
When a rendered finish is chosen for the outer skin of the garage or office, a range of colours and textures are available to meet the customers wishes. The architectural finish produced from the silicone based renders from K Rend, are water repellent yet allow the substructure to breathe.
Factory Built Precision
Using the latest CAD technology, the Abtech Steel Building is designed for ease of fabrication and construction. The cold rolled steel sections are manufactured under controlled conditions in our own factory and are cut and punched to ensure a perfect fit, every time.
Rapid Storage Facility
When starting a new site, the speed of erection of the Abtech Steel Building provides a quick, secure and convenient store for materials and equipment for the rest of the build, removing the need for additional storage hire.
